anyone purchased one of the OER dash pad

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/OER-14006173/

Mine was JACKED, so looking to replace. Are dash pads still available for 73-80s? Even if they're black, I wouldnt mind changing from medium blue to black interior since I only have to worry about the dash, doors and seat/belts

$189 is quite a bit cheaper than most others i have seen. I might give that a shot sometime in the future. Anyone on here used that brand?

Re: anyone purchased one of the OER dash pad

I bet it is the same type that Classic Industries has. Molded urethane. I got mine for about $190 from Classic Industries a while back. It was OK but not great. Pretty flimsy (the metal part was so thin) and was "cut to fit". I had to cut a lot off the sides but other than that it fit fine with no warpage or anything.

Re: anyone purchased one of the OER dash pad

Classic parts had genuine GM dash pads.
They are around $400 though...

81-91 dash
http://www.classicparts.com/1981-91-...info/30%2D815/

It says they come in varying colors, paint to match, and limited quantities.
Price has gone up $544

Looks like they don't have any more 73-80 GM dashes...

It will fit, but you will have to change the trim on the right side as well.

Re: anyone purchased one of the OER dash pad

I was happy with mine from Tuckers.

Went in pretty smooth... I did break half of the clips getting them on the back of the pad.. had to reorder more.. but it went in smooth fit well.. I'll try and sap a picture of it in..

Is that a cap or an actual full dash pad itself? How do you guys feel about the plastic caps they sell that go right over the old dash, I have heard some on here say they are real think but that isnt a bad thing because it doesnt add any bulk and ends up looking like a new dash when installed properly and glued down.
