Question 1970 tilt steering

am restoring a 1970 swb chevy and need to know if they offered tilt wheel in that year. If so what year tilt could I put in. Will have
other ?s later. Am a new member and new to this.

Yes I think they offered a tilt in 70.
Any year tilt from a 67-72 will fit right in.
I'm not an expert, so just my info on my limited knowledge.

69 was the first year, and they were the same 69 - 72.

my G.M. parts book lists a tilt in 70. i have only seen factory tilts in 71-72s. if someone has a 70 with a factory installed tilt, i'd really like to see the build sheet and/or option list, just for my own curiousity. since i saw tilt listed in my parts book for the 70 model year i've always wondered if any really did exist. my book is a factory G.M. parts book same as the dealers have, so i trust the information in there is correct. if anyone has a 70 that can document the tilt as being factory installed it would be a rare S.O.B.

wow, thats a lot of options. i got an old tilt column that needs rewired and cleaned up and a new steering wheel in my garage i took out of a 70 swb cst.
