Please keep this at the top!!! I have recieved a notice in my email from a scam artist targeting ebay users. The email says it is from ebay and the subject says "Official notice for all e-bay users"
The following is what is in the message body:
Dear eBay Uder,

During our regular udpate and verification of the accounts, we couldn't verify your current information. Either your information has changed or it is incomplete.

As a result, your access to bid or buy on Ebay has been restricted. To start using your eBay account fully, please update and verify your information by clicking below :

its not really an ebay motors page your looking at. all ebays intersite pages start with http://cgi NOT scgi...its pretty clever..not to mention any of the ebay link buttons bring you to the real ebay so it looks real......definately a fraud.

guys I got the same request a few weeks ago. It appears to be a secure site. But when you click on the link it actually takes you to a domain outside of ebay. You can see it up in the url. I notified ebay, and they verified that is was fraud

I love ebay myself.

ebay constantly tells you they will never contact you through email about any personal info.

If it weren't for E-bay I wouldn't have half the NOS stuff I have...my MINT MINT NOS 73-74 grill for $60!!...or my cherry 73-80 NOS dash pad for $80. As long as you pay attention and use your brains E-bay can be your best friend.
