power steering
Do I need a conversion kit if I go with a Toyota power steering box on my 56 Chevy pickup or what do i need to do. I heard this way is better cuz the box stays inside the frame compared to the Chevy late model box. Any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Re: power steering
Where can i find more info on a toyota PS box swap? I've heard toyota 4x4 straight axle, but thats it...Model, year...?
I've got a 51' with a 4" drop straight axle. Getting to the point of working on the steering.

Re: power steering
Pretty sure it's an 80-84 Toyota 4x4 box. CPP used to have a tech how to on their site (it might be a Eff 100 article but it's the same principle)
