What is a good sound deadner ,to use ?
iam searching for sound deadner my original mats were so crumbly they were almost gone ,, i have the original cardboard top section but looking for something on floor im running flowmaster 40 series 2 1/12 exhaust and gets annoying with no carpet in it , i seen peace maker fatmat and a few others and also who makes a good qaulity carpet that fits real good , along the doors and goes all the way back to where tank is ? thanks for any info

cool im checking out the site now ,, think ill get some of those 6x10 squares ..i have tons of the tinfoil style deadner laying around to go over the floor ,, not bad price ,

The squares will help with vibration. To combat the drone of the exhaust, I would look into the MLV or MLV/foam together. You can always call the owner, Don. He is very knowledgeable and could help you put something together.

Can anyone else confirm that a few of these cd panels will do anything for noise when pasted to the inside of the door skin on a 57 swb?

I'm looking for sound deadner too. I'd like one that goes between the driver's seat and the passengers seat, preferably from floor to roof.

thats mastly why i was looking into it the doors ,, and then to get rid of the sound from the exhaust its horrible ,might have to get diffrent mufflers but i love the sound of the series 40 flowmasters and allready had them brand new

Frost King you can buy it a Home Depot, it's fairly cheap and works great.

Yes I used it on my pickup, doubled up on the floor it works. I used it on my Vette thats how I found it on the Vette forum.
