color choice

I like you guys choice of color. The dark cloisonne blue from the 95 ZR1 vette is the color I painted my truck. It's due for a new paint job, but when I do I will keep it the same color.

Here's a pic

Re: Hood scoops on 69-72 chevy trucks

Hey KeyStroke,

Is that your Yellow Pickup in this thread with the hood scoop? If so, what are the wheels that are on it? And, what vehicle are the bucket seats from?

Thanks

I had considered this myself but didnt think the vents were functional, Do they let air in? Been thinking of a Torino shaker or a Torino scoop with the turn signals in the back. But things often prove better in theroy than application or looks. Still its a thought. 5-6 years ago there was a guy on here making a 70-72 442 style hood for his truck. It looked pretty good.

The grills are open but there is a large brace that runs right in that location in the hood so not very functional. (that could be modified) I did it for looks only so I won't be doing anything to that brace. Just like being different and had a rotted SS hood lying around...
