69 Chevy Cummins 12 valve NV4500 project
///edit... now posted in the trucks section. Apparently it could not upload 10 pictures at once.
So my old project has to go as soon as possible. I have been busy with school over the last couple years and work and just havent had the time to work on it. Now Im losing the place where I have it stored. The truck is in the DFW area of Texas The truck is a 1969 Chevy C10 shortbed stepside. I bought it from a guy here in Texas. I started a Cummins 12 valve conversion and just havent had time to finish The good: Powdercoated frame 12v Cummins motor NV4500 (rebuilt) 5 spd Lots of new parts: -drop spindles -inner wheel well liners -notched frame (installed) -new corvette master cyl -new prop valve Rebuilt 12bolt rear 69 front clip 68 front clip Fuel cell Needs bodywork brake lines finish fuel lines tires are shot This is definitely a project truck. I have $2500 into the motor and transmission alone. The motor has 88k miles or so (thats nothing on a 12v... they should go 300k without problems) and I paid $3k for the truck years ago. I have $1500-2000 in new parts for the truck. I need $4k for it and I need it gone asap. I have almost everything for a complete truck. I work nights so I can be available during the day. Tim I tried to post this in the trucks for sale section a couple time and it didnt work. So, Im posting it here Last edited by 8mpg; 03-19-2012 at 10:30 AM. |
