What shocks? I want em now not next week so that limits me to stock on hand at advance or oriellys

I cut the shock mount off and relocated it to the top of the frame. then I cut the bump stops off. 6 years on the road every day. rides nice. the issue I had was shocks that would be short enough. the ones that were on it only had 1/2" of travel left. then at an inch the bump stop would limit travel.

got this from a previous post hope this helps. this is a 3" drop front and 5" drop rear
You can go the Monroe Monro-Matic Plus route: Fronts: 33033 or 1"shorter#37187 [67-86 C15/C1500 Pickup;;66-86 C25/C2500 Pickup;;67-86 C35/C3500 Pickup;;87 R1500 Pickup;;87-89 R2500 Pickup;;87-91 R3500 Pickup] Monro-Matic Plus Shock Absorber;;Economical Price;;Ideal Balance Of Comfort And Control Front- Monroe 33033 Rear- Monroe 32301 Monro-Matics have a great deal of travel over other shocks 10.0 inches collapsed The KYB's 6" rear drop are part # 344067 you dont need drop shocks with just a 2" coildrop in the front, most front shocks will fit rear up to 5"drop Front stock=Extended Length: 15.00 in.
