Crew cab
I normally only post in the 60-66 side, but thought Id share this pic. Didnt know if you guys had seen this truck. Im familiar with the 60-66 crew cabs....it seems to me the steps have been removed and the rear fenders moved forward or was this the factory configuration?

looks like they moved the fenders to fit the tires, must have put it on a newwer frame an didnt stretch it any

It's a 4x so it's hard to tell what was done. Good looking truck though but i think it would look better with a little more space between the cab and the fender.

I remember seeing that truck for sale on ebay... and if my memory serves me right didnt it say it was factory built like that?

if it's an original, it was built by an aftermarket coach builder.
anything non standard was built by coach builders. usually for a power company or forest service

Ogre nailed it! I remember seeing this on ebay and most of these were meant for rough use and that is why few survived. I can't recall the name of the coach works that did this one. Perhaps it wasn't mentioned in the ebay ad.
