wat up wat up??!!!! =D

hello my name is john and im from san jose n just moved to sac and i got this project im tryna work on i have a 1980 GMC sierra 15 stepside ( and I love it ) it has has new long block new black leather interior new suspension and thats it. oh and a nice lil magna flow bout to switch it out though for some glasspack... its got the original silver paint from factory but it started to get kinda rusty so my boy and i started sand it a bit and primered it only where the rust was at which was on the roof and hood. but now im ready for a real paint job the only thing though is I wanna get my steps chrome. and I was wondering if anyone out there can give me some advice on how to remove my steps to get them chrome?? anything would much appreciated. besides that im exited to be a new member here and hope to meet some cool people and simply just have fun!!!
