disc brakes tight after sitting?

Have a 78 1'2 ton thats bee n sitting for about 2 yrs out side.I put new pads on before It got parked [ tranny went] now I have tranny in and noticed fr. tires were real hard to turn.I took the wheel off and sanded the rotors where I could and got a little looser.Anything else I can do or will it loosen up after some miles

Re: disc brakes tight after sitting?

You might want to make sure the calipers move easily, on the slider bolts, and that the fluid is at the correct level. This will allow the calipers to return, normally.
