Re: Anyone ever deal with copart

To my knowledge you have to be a licensed Salvage yard or used car dealer to buy from them. When I worked at Hertz we used them to dispose of our salvaged vehicles so I got to sit in on some of the local auctions in Tulsa. We had one go through that my dad wanted to buy, so we had a local salvage yard bid and buy it for us. They charged us $100 to do it, and the guy is my dads neighbor. Pretty sure John Q Public is not allowed to go in and bid, but I could be mistaken.

i have bought a few cars and trucks there and my harley. My harley was a real good buy, just had a dent in the tank and slightly bent handlebars. I was riding it as soon as i got home and checked it out.

Depends on the state, but in most cases, you have to be a licensed dealer, salvage yard, re-builder, etc....to buy there. I'm just a couple hours east of you and used to live in Owasso. Nice town and sure has grown a bunch.

A bunch? That's putting it light, hehe. From my childhood in the 70's, it has grown like plants in Snoop Dogs closet.
