Exclamation Help cant find part's number

help Porportioning valve is leaking
the brake shop said has to be changed
79 silverado 454 lwb 8 lug camper special

i need to ID part number cuz the brake shop looked everywhere
they even called the dealer and couldnt find it

i found porp. Valve on line but im not sure they fit
disk/drum

If any1 had a similar problem plz let me know

I'm not sure if there is any difference between the 1/2 and 3/4 ton trucks prop. valve, but when I replaced mine I used P/N PV2 from CPP. I ordered mine through Dan's Classics in Portland, OR.

part number I come up with is PV71 I can get these, and would sell it for $55 + shipping.
(jegs/summit sell them for $66+shipping)

Gramps, that post is going to get you in trouble with the mods. I would double check the forum rules.

Magic- I think I paid somewhere around $70 for it.
