Back in the 90's I bet we painted 2 or 3 sets of those per week for people. They really pop if you get the insert color to match your truck.

Are they bare aluminum? I had a similar set on a jeep and the non black areas were clear coated. Might have to strip them before you can polish them unless the clear is still in decent shape.

I know where a set of these are for 6-lug trucks that I can get for free if someone wants them in my area. Not sure what kind of shape they're in. They come with a set of dryrotted 33x12.50's, too!

Re: my $100 craigslist score this morning
for those of us in our mid 30s those were the coolest thing on a truck in 91, 92 when i was 17 or 18 you had a sharp ride with these and fat rubber.
from looking at them i cant tell if the clear is on them or not if t is its in bad shape. i will get a better look in the morning i plan to get them polished up befor mounting my tiger paws on them ( old skool 90s white letter tires ). for now all these will work great. later a few years from now i would like to do a great paint job and maybe some 18s 20s at the most. i am just not into big wheels and slamming a truck. i love looking at them and love the craftsmanship that goes into them. you guys that spend the time and money to drop these trucks on your own are an insperation.
