I had repaired the stock sending unit but some how it changed the resistance so the old unit only goes down to half tank. So, I'll have to get an adapter to run the replacement unit.

I just seen the date on the last post and can't believe it's been a year already. WoW. Ok so I still haven't got it working. Still stuck on FULL. I think I'm going to buy an aftermarket 30ohm fuel gauge. Can someone tell me what color the wires are for the fuel gauge. The ones that connect to the gauge cluster. Thanks
