Anyone swap a 88-95 tilt colum into there truck?
I have a donor truck with a nice setup including wiring harness, heater, ac,fuse blocks..pretty much everything i can pull to make my truck more comfy.. all the upgraded tech stuff. Just wondering if anyone has taken on this challenge yet.. and it definitely looks like a challenge but do-able. Any info on what to watch out for .. or im just being a idiot about it advice works also

FYI.....The columns in the 88-94 are plastic and a lowlife with a screwdriver can steal it in about 20 seconds. It is the same basic column that was in the Camaro and Monte Carlos in the 1980's, which would disappear before you would get 20 feet from the car.

Re: Anyone swap a 88-95 tilt colum into there truck?
I tried a column from a '94 Suburban for mine and found it to be alot longer than would fit to my liking. Also think trying to re use and already 20 year old wiring harness would be more work than installing a new one, granted it's newer than what was OEM. Just my opinion.

Thanks for the input. Its all about the money at this point. The wiring harness is going to be used to save me 400 bucks.Plus the donor motor is tbi, so that harness will make it way easier for me. Its in great shape. I've owned the truck for ten years. so that makes it sound in my book. I'll just use the original column so that's no biggie. Anyone use the heater assy? I saw a couple of pictures floating around that looked like it might have been doable.
