dash lights not working
installing american autowire hwy 15 harness in my 53 chevy pickup. Everything has worked fine until I hooked up the gauge lights and they didn't come on. The high beam indicator didn't come on either. Any ideas what might be happening?

Re: dash lights not working
No responses so maybe I'm the only dummie...but FYI for any future dummies, when I hooked up the dash lights I checked them before putting them in there "homes" in the back of the gauges. I read something about the light sockets grounding to the back of the gauges so I took a shot and plugged them all in. They all worked like a charm. Lesson learned I guess!

Re: dash lights not working
Yes they need to be grounded. When working with automotive electricity the question is always "do I have a complete circuit?"
