67-68 Grill help
It's been about 3 years since I took the grill off my 68, sad, I know.
Now since I got my intercooler and stuff mounted, how does that tapered "pan" bolt to the grill and core support. It like a very wide triangle, what I need to know is which side it top or bottom and whether or not I really "need" it. |

Re: 67-68 Grill help
It bolts up so that the bolts that hold it to the rad support have to be tightened from the bottom. It then bolts to the bottom side of the grille.
Im sure if you left it out the front end would be structurally fine, Id be concerned about cooling air flow. |

Re: 67-68 Grill help
not really needed and it would be structurally fine but it does keep it a little cleaner up front from road dirt. just undercoat the bottom and you should be good it will keep the back of your grill clean, it might even help keep the fron clean a little... ( if dirt comes from behind the grill and goes through one of the openings and gets on the outside) but thats my 2 cents
