u mean u can pull it in and out?? that kinda loose? or do u mean like if a buddy was holding the wheels keeping them from moving, but still moves left and right as if turning???

obvious: did u remember the spring? did the o clip that keeps the spring in fall out/break?

not obvious: is the rag joint installed properly? if its the orij. rag joint, its found home and needs to be put back into orij position/replaced.

Re: How do i fix a loose steering wheel

Its more like a wooble loose. If thats a word. Haha... I think its the race that goes over the upper spindle bearing. But im not sure how to seat it back down over it. The spring and clip are in.

Re: How do i fix a loose steering wheel

The wheels dont have any play in them. Just the steering wheel.

Well idk sir, u took it apart and now its broke, retrace ur steps, cant helLp ya without more descriptions. Check what i said. Take some pics showing play, make a video.

Left to right play can be a bearing or rag joint, good luck. Retrace ur steps, the problems gonna b obvious just gotta stare at it long enough.
Make a video thats ur best luch

Re: How do i fix a loose steering wheel

Very possible that you lost some or all of the bearings in the upper bearing below where the spring is at. The seat that that the spring sits on holds the upper bearing in place.
