Re: Aftermarket wiring harness
Generaly the more circuit's and accessory's and switches drives the cost up. Fuel Injection, Carb, Stock Tranny, Power Window's, Seats, Electric Fan's, it all depends on what your truck has. I am only going to run the minimum an electric fan and A/C and radio so I went with painless fuse panel and Ron Frances labeled wires that I bought on Egay dirt cheap from private seller.

Re: Aftermarket wiring harness
I went with a 21 circuit EZwire. color coded and labeled. For the price, you could not beat it. most reviews on EZwire, are older ones. The current setup comes with everything you need.
The directions still need a tad more in them, but if you have any experience in the wiring, its not really an issue. |

i used the 21 circuit ezwire too. also downloaded and read the painless instructions. both are good instruction and have different info.

Re: Aftermarket wiring harness
AAW all day long. Comes with everything you need less battery cables including new switches. Cheaper harness work, but when your installing them for a living, they cost a lot more in the end.

Re: Aftermarket wiring harness
Quality wise, I think most if not all of the available ones are good. I used the EZwire 21 and for less than $200 shipped it was a great deal. It just boils down to how much you want to spend and how comfortable you are with wiring.

Re: Aftermarket wiring harness
The quality of the harness is my main concern, having built numerous muscle cars, installed fiberglass bodies on jeeps ,and completed a restoration on a 72 GMC sierra grande,I dont feel intimidated by the wiring . I just want a quality product as I plan on this truck being a driver for many years.
