Re: Vacuum pump???
After fighting the header evac crap I bought an Aerospace vacuum pump kit for the Nova,, Now there is one on the truck too. Work GREAT, everything nice and dry and adjustable. Only way I know exactly what vacuum it's pulling on the top end is a old gopro video happened to catch the vacuum gauge (10-12" in the traps, I should probably crank that down to about 9") . A big issue with high pan vacuums in a wet sump is collapsing the pan up against the pump pickup, especially with an aluminum pan.
There has been rumor of pin gaulling with high crankcase vacuums, but I've not seen it (yet) and maybe that is only with a dry sump system?? In comparison,, I will never go back to a header evac system.

Re: Vacuum pump???
I've got a whole setup from gz Motorsports I got it installed yesterday it's pulling 5 at a 1200 rpm idle. It has an adjustable regulator may have to turn it down. I'm curious what it's going to do at the track I didn't have anything but a filter in the valve cover before

Re: Vacuum pump???
The heads are cast iron world products sportsman 2 they have been ported by a friend of mine in Tulsa ok. They flow real similar to afr 210cc on paper but the port is actually 227cc so there are much better heads available. I've owned these heads since 1996.
