EGR Valve HELP!
I have an 1987 chevy r10 5.7 and I cant seem to get the right EGR for it could anyone tell me the part#. Or give me some info on figuring out witch one will perform right on my truck? Thanks

If it's a 350M (carb) then it looks like the production EGR valve was part # 17085920 (this is the number most places need to identify the replacement part) and had a spacer between it and the intake manifold of part # 14031368. The replacement is part # 17111260 and requires the spacer.
If it's a 350K (tbi) then it looks like the production EGR valve was part # 17087194 and the replacement is part# 19210654 You should be able to have a local parts house cross these over as well if you want to go with aftermarket parts rather than GM parts. Be sure to give them the production number listed. Hope this helps. |
