Dual Gas Tank Question
I bought an 86 Silverado, it has a passenger side gas tank, but it is missing the driver side gas tank. It is set up for dual gas tank but I'm missing the driver side, so I went to the salvage and bought a driver side gas tank. Well, when I connected the gas tank the ONLY problem I have is that the neck hose that connects to the tank that is used to fill it up is larger than the hole on the tank. On my truck the neck hose is already attached and it is wide, the hole on the tank is small... What the heck do I do???

Re: Dual Gas Tank Question
73-76 and 77-87 use diffrent tanks the fill tube inlet ate diffrent sizes find a diffrent hose you might have to lube the side that goes on the bed and force it on if you were closer I would make you a deal on the tank out of my truck I pulled the duel tanks and swapped in a new driver side tank for the intank pump
