Vacuum line

The HVAC control on my 1990 Suburban is stuck blowing air down the heater vent. I examined it closer and turns out, and I found a vacuum line that goes into the firewall that is crispy and falling apart. The vacuum line is very small like 1/8" and made out of plastic. I went to a parts store and they didn't have it. Where can I find this part?

Re: Vacuum line

Try to find a supplier that deals in parts for pneumatic / hydraulic systems, they usualy stock this type of hose. They are often used to connect control valves and sutch things.

Re: Vacuum line

Ed, I don't know if they call it plastic convoluted tubing or not. Summit Racing has a bunch of tubing, but 1/4" is the smallest I saw on their web site.
When I worked in the paint shop for GM we used Parker Paraflex tubing for our air lines and they were pretty small- 1/8" or so.
