Gas tank install
I just thought you guys might be interested since there has been so much discussion on under bed tanks. I just bought an aluminum tank from Northern Tool and installed in my sons 66. It holds 16 gallons and its a perfect fit between the frame rails. The filler looks like it hits the center of one of the boards so I will fill it from inside the bed. I believe the only mod will be to cut one of the cross sills. I think I am going to cut it out and weld in a piece of 4" tubing so when you open the filler you reach in the pipe to open the cap. I think the tank was $210. I will try to post somw pics when I get time.

Re: Gas tank install
I have already installed a tank, just trying to give some information for others who might want to try the same tank I used.
