Awesome badfarmtruck. Thanks for the picture - It's good to see that you can still tow with that kind of drop. Although I'm willing to sacrifice all functionality to get my truck closer to the ground, I'm glad I can still use it to haul things if needed. What kind of setup do you have? Just a Flip and Shackles, or did you add helper bags?
Thanks- BLUE SQUARE |

Flip kit, shackles, & HD c-sections (the type that wrap around the top/bottom plus the side of the frame rail) along w/an AOL set-up & towing isn't an issue.

Even w/o a load in the back of my old 74, the >7" rear drop puts the axle tube very close to the frame rail. Mine had about 1" gap w/the flip kit (HD 8-leaf spring pack) & Bell Tech shackles.

Great feedback SCOTI. Thanks- that gives me a pretty good idea of what I have to do. I will probably go 6 or 7 inches in the rear with a notch. Thanks, man.

Mine was about the same after the flip kit. About an inch of clearance. I have air shocks in the back right now, but i will eventually end up doing a c-notch so I can drive with the truck level all the time and not worry about the axle hitting the frame.

Re: Anybody tow with a 5/7 drop on a Square? (Pictures).
I plan on doing all the work once while I have the bed off. I will be ordering a western chassis flip and notch. Also, I will change the diff gear oil and power wash and clean everything really well - then I will apply a coat of eastwood. I will provide pics when I get to that point. I have more time than money, so I'm just doing my homework. Thanks again, guys!
