Re: cummins crossmember

what do you mean TN diesel doesn't have the setup? Scott should have them in stock.

Re: cummins crossmember

i am converting a 2wd to 4x4. tenn diesel is used in a 4x4 frame. i dont have anything but the frame. no crossmember no engine mounts nothing, i have to have a complete cossmember and mount assy.

AUTO WORLD is CRAZY expensive, just the mounts are 500.00 and the crossmember is 650.00.

Re: cummins crossmember

take your 2wd mounts, and box the bottom of them so they bolt to the frame down there, and then use some 1.5 square tube to make a crossmember between the frame. works great. I just turned a 2wd frame into a 4wd one for my truck after I wrecked it. my 1.5 crossmember was unhurt. shouldn't take more than a weekend. you can buy just the engine mounts from tn diesel, and then you're golden. mine are a copy of his mounts, and uses the stock chevy mounts.

Re: cummins crossmember

oops just realized you don't even have the 2wd mounts. should be easy enough to junkyard a pair of them though.
