Took the Blazer on Power Tour

HRPT 2012 for me:
I wasn't able to leave for Detroit due to a death in my wife's family. So I sent my dad, brother and nephew up in my K5. Low and behold.... HR photog'd it twice..!

I got a ride with a buddy to meet up with them in Muskegon. Muskegon was a cluster, they had it nailed in 2011, this year they just screwed the pooch worst signage I've ever seen at PT..... epic Fail in my book.

Muskegon to Champaign rolled right through my dad's home town. So we backed the Blazer into the ditch for a photo op in Wheatfield, IN

Then about Remington, IN I had a tire grow a lump and give the Blazer a nice shake at all speeds. Ordered tires at Tires Plus there in Champaign and got them mounted the next morning before we hit STL.

Look any better??
.... going through PT withdraws

I've not gotten many downloaded yet, my nephew has a lot on his camera of the Prooving Grounds, anxious to get those uploaded! Will be sure to add here as I get them.

Went from a 31-10.5 to a 33-12.5. No rubbing, however, i wouldnt want to get it to off kilter, pretty sure she'd rub up front.

Re: Took the Blazer on Power Tour

Great Choice in tires. I love the Firestone Destination A/T. I put 60k miles on the set in my old burb, including a lot of trail riding time, and they still had good traction. Finally lost one to a rebar stick some construction company left in the road a few months ago.
