Where Are The 6-Lug Steel Wheels For My '66 Stepside?

Wow... I got a '66 Stepside a few weeks back that has some "groovy" 80s style American Racing wheels that I don't like. I really want a set of 15" 6-Lug steel wheels for it but can't seem to find anything... used or new. Are they that rare and hard to obtain? Anybody have a decent source for a new set that will fit my 66? Any help appreciated.

Whats up from Nashville.

I love steelies on these trucks. I saw a C10 last night at a cruise-in that was spot on. He was running 16" Wheel Vintiques steelies, but the make 15". Here are some lazy ass links.

Do you want steelies or smoothies..I bought 5 (12 series smoothie) wheels - bare medal from Summit about 3 years ago for $49.95 each delivering and handling $11.95.. They get them from Wheel Vintiques and you pay much less for them, and they dont kill you on the shipping charges... I had them powder coated...Heres sum pics...

Re: Where Are The 6-Lug Steel Wheels For My '66 Stepside?

C10TN glad to help..I believe my wheels are 15X7 and I like the steel wheel look with bullet lugnuts..besides I have many choices on center caps and beauty rings if I change my mind..I actually was gonna go with the original rims and It took me 4 years to replace 1 mis match to complete my set...untill I realized they didnt fit on my front disc brake conversion kit.. I sold them to a friend for his 65..

Got mine from Summit when they had free shipping. Check your local swap meets and craigslist as well.

Re: Where Are The 6-Lug Steel Wheels For My '66 Stepside?

I picked up a set at my local junkyard. The '73-'87 K10 pickups generally came with 6 lug steelies. The big advantage of these wheels is that they will take original style hubcaps from our trucks.
