1951 Chevy Pick-up

I am installing weatherstripping around the cab (at the door). Is there a way to make it look professional instead of rookie? I need to join seams.

Mine always looks rookie no matter what I do and I've been at it since 1973 with my truck. I try to get long enough pieces so that I don't have to splice them.

If you take your time and start with clean doors and of course use a good 3M glue you can do it.. The secret is having a friend help you.. one to spread the glue and one to lay the rubber on the door.. do this in small areas at a time and it'll come out great and look professional..

Joining at the bottoms with the 45 angles are tough. Get good clean cuts on the 45's help.
