1960 Stepside Hood Chioce HELP!!

Hey guys can you please color the wheels on this truck red and change hood inserts and grill to 1960 version. I have a 1960 stepside and am wondering if I should go back to the original hood and grill on it. It currently has a hood and grill off a 1964, my dad made the swap years ago when it was his cause he didnt like the hood, but I'm really liking the 60 hood better. Let me know what you guys think.... Any input is greatly appreciated.

I like the 60-61 hoods more myself. If I had a 60 w/a 62-66 hood I would definitely swap it out and the grill also.

60 - 61 hood and grill combo is more desired now than it was in the past...ChevyFreak you've seen mine already...chk my avatar pic. The truck sits lower now... Have you found one yet?

The older I get, the more I like things to be original. I would go back to original... I used to have a 60 grill on my '62, but a couple years back, I went back to original...

Do the 60 hood because they are wicked to look at.....everybody has a flat hood....not many have the double bubble.

BTW- if thats an AZ hood and you do swap, let me know. Good hoods are hard to find in NC and it'll help offset the cost of that 60-61 hood...

lol I am the minority this time. I dislike the bugeyed hood so much I traded a mint condition one off my '61 for a pretty haggard 63+ style.

Thanks brother! No i haven't found a grill I like yet. I have the hood, it needs a lil work but will look good once it's cherried out.

I agree with you about keeping it OG brother! I really wish you still had that bad ass 60 grill, I'd buy from you in a heartbeat! I love your 62 bro, its well known on this site and in Santa ha ha.

I'm gonna do the swap man! Its a NM hood and has a lil body work done to it. Not sure if you are still interested in it.

Tough to find a good quality 60-61 hood....at least it has been for me.

Looking for a 61 chevy hood if you stumble across one in really good condition.

Thanks bro! That grille went to my girl's brother. He got a killer deal too! I have a decent chrome '60 shell. It doesn't have the bezels or the bars. I just have it hanging in the garage for deco... it's a start.

Also, my cousin bought a '61 for his boy. They were talking about swapping out the hood for a '62-'66. Willing to trade? He's in Burque.

I'll call him. From what I remember, the hood's in good shape. Text me this weekend and we can discuss the grille. My bro-in-law says he has the bumper I need. I've been kicking around the idea of selling the '67 after I do a few things to it. Know anyone?
