Tilt Column Question
Will a tilt column from a 75 chevy truck fit in a 72 chevy truck with no modification ? I can get one complete from steering wheel to rag joint for $60 and Im sure thats a deal ,I can use it in my 74 if it wont fit the 72 but I want a tilt in my 72 much worse.I can also get the power booster and master cylinder for my 74 for another $40 .

Re: Tilt Column Question
Kevin knows these things forward and backward and of course he is right. The biggest thing is the ignition switch, it's in the column on the 75 and in the dash on your 72 so that will look very wonky.
A van tilt will look good. They can be found in vans up to 81 or 82 if I remember right. They are almost dead ringers for a truck tilt, just a few odds and ends that are different but only a truck person can tell.

Re: Tilt Column Question
Well I wont be using this tilt column since it wont work in my 72 and because its a auto column it wont work in my 74 but if someone wants it I will be glad to pull it when I go back and get a few other parts off this truck before they crush it .And again this is not my truck being parted out but will gladly help someone out if someone needs this item.
