Is Your Truck 506 Med. Blue?
I'd like to see it. My truck has the paint code 4506aa in the SPID. The chips just don't cut it. I wanna see it on the truck. A 67 S/B Fleet would be a plus!!

I'll play. Mine has been repainted, but it appears to be original. Build sheet says 506.

Thank you!! Look like the color the PO didn't spray over in the bed. Is yours metallic?

Yes, the PO had painted it a really nasty looking bright blue at one time. The repaint was decent, though since it appears to have been some time ago and has some scratches to prove it. Can't complain for a $650 Truck. It had a canopy on it when I bought it, so my guess is that they painted it with the canopy still on it since the tops of the bed rails and inside the bed are still the puke blue. Some day I will probably get some Hot Rod Flatz and paint those (color looks similar).

Like this? Interior is going to depend on year and trim color.

Re: Is Your Truck 506 Med. Blue?
A '67 would have two shades of blue paint on the interior plus the argent color for the glove box door. I went into this in detail on another post for a 507 two-tone truck. The colors and color chart are the same for a 506 truck. Now in the end Mr Chevrolet ended up painting his truck interior other than factory interior colors but it still "looks right". In support of my information 67c10rustbuket was kind enough to provide some pictures of his disassembled truck showing the original interior blue ploy and the darker blue used on top of the dash. The blue poly is the correct color, use Ditzler 13391 color and is correct for the 506,507 or 508 base color trucks. I have done a lot of color research and will on occasion do a break down for someone like I did for JHT67 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=511283&page=2 post #30. If you need more let me know.
