vin# and other tags
my vin # starts with the nbr 5 but is registered as 64. also has the eng nbr on the plate. the second plate with mod# , paint nbrs etc, I haven't seen on others, was mounted on the firewall to the right of the eng. Don't know what the schedule or item nbrs are for, or the F.T.O. either

Re: vin# and other tags
I like the ca tag , so nice looking, might it have been an early 65? didn't the new vehicles start showing up at the dealers in october or so?
there was a guy in georgia that had one the other way around, it was a 66, but had been titled new as a 67

Thats very cool and offers up alot more info than US ones. I have never seen plates like that before anywhere else.
