Re: Buddy Buckets in a 64-66
pretty sure markeb01 had buddy buckets in his 63 at some point, you would have to sift through his build thread to find them, the dash and door panels would be different but, you would get the picture.
Otherwise do a serarch and scroll through the results.

Re: Buddy Buckets in a 64-66
Bucket seats first started in 1966 I believe. They were the "buddy bucket" style in 1966. Possible only GMC's. Some think they may have started in late 65 trucks.
Here is a thread that talks about them: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=406903 Photos in this thread, apparently the middle seat is a little different: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=471000 And one more thread with pictures: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=434120

Re: Buddy Buckets in a 64-66
Buddy buckets were in my 65 when I owned it before, and they bolted right in.
They looked and felt like they belonged. My cousin just gave me a photo he had in his stash. It's of my interior while it was still under construction back in 1984. The only other pic I have of the Buddy Buckets in my truck were this pic I posted in my; 'Lost my 65' thread:

Re: Buddy Buckets in a 64-66
Thanks for the info on the seats. I.m going to look at a set out of a 67 or 68. A little pricey but I like the look. If I buy them I will have the upholstery guy give them a custom look.
Does anyone know if these buckets, seat any different then the stock bench. I,m looking for more room in the cab I,m tall 6'5". Thanks again for the help |

Yes, the do offer 'more' room as the seats aren't as padded as the OE benches. Not much more, but every little bit helps. I have them in my 64 but don't have any pics @ the moment....
