np 208 t/c leak
i have a 1970 chevy 4x4 short bed. i have a 700 r4 bolted to a sb 350 and a np 208 t/c. with a 4 inch lift. just had t/c rebuilt since it was leaking. i still have the same leak . it leaks where the tailshaft housing meets the case. is this a weak spot ? to much angle or pressure from rear drive shaft ? your help is greatly appreciated !!

Re: np 208 t/c leak
Oh you poor fellow, a 700 & NP208, so sad.
Might wanna have a spare 700 around, especially if 33"+ tires. The words POS come to mind when thinking of both of these. The tailshaft seal will always leak, if you drive it. The only t/c's that don't leak @ rear seal are fixed yoke.
