E85 fuel
HI Guys
I am running a Edelbrook carb on my stock 1969 Chevy 305 Will E85 Fuel ruin my carb and fuel lines? Thanks Buz48 |

if there is any steel it will rust and rubber will rot. e85 your line should be stainless and the rubber should be made to handle the alcohol

No. Unless your engine was designed for E85 don't even think about using it. It'll F*** it up.
E85 isn't all it's cracked up to be anyway. My Explorer is designed for FlexFuel. When I first got it I was excited about the lower cost of E85 but with lower MPG that you really don't save any money.
