Truck bed tie downs...
Hey all, going to leave paint the way it is for now till I can muster up some funds.
Runs and drives good after I finally got muffle from adjusted. The previous owner had the great idea to put tie downs along the bed, kinda lame, but to each their own. I contacted him but he can not locate the tie downs anywhere, said he took them off years ago. ![]() Sooooo....plan B. I need to find some to throw back on. At least it will kinda look normal. Looking for something like this.. cant seem to find them online, hoping someone out there has 6 laying around. 3 inches by 3 inches round. they dont need to be chrome by any means? If anyone has any thoughts on some thing else I can do with these areas on the bed, please let me know. I know I know, some say just leave it, depending on feed back from you guys, might be the case. Thanks in advance. |

Re: Truck bed tie downs...
Was dropped by previous owner, I would say 2 1/2 front 4 rear. I'll try and post some pics of what he did. He used blocks to lower the rear, custom made. I'll try and post some pics.
Also, when I'm ready to rebuild truck, I'm going with the Early Classic guys for my Suspension and Disc brake conversion needs. From what I've seen online they look like they have everything I need and there close to my home town. Digg |

I don't think I would put them back on, but if you do I would not stick shiny Chrome ones on there.
