That's what I thought too. But I picked up a set of stock big block springs just to be safe. Although I was told drop springs are tempered different than stock springs to make them stronger which the coils are a much larger diameter than stock. Also I have looked for drop springs for a bigblock application and all the ones I have seen do not specify big or small block. Not sure but I guess I will find out.
