Did Drop now have some shock questions???

I recently replaced my rear coils on my 67 with 5" drop springs. I am going to purchase the adjustable track bar from porterbuilt and relocate that. Do I need to worry about shock location with the 5" drop?

Also, can anyone give me some suggestions on shocks to use for a 3.5" front drop (1" drop springs and 2.5" drop spindles) and the 5" rear drop? I wont be going any lower with this truck so something that will give it a good ride and last...

Re: Did Drop now have some shock questions???

You really need to relocate the shock mounts on a drop of that size. CPP and ECE both have great kits with shocks and everything or you could modify your brackets like in Scotti thread (http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=359399) and find some shocks to help.

Up front with only 1” of spring you should be able to use a stock height shock.
