Re: ?s on the low with out the bag.
You can get a custom cross member that will add additional clearance. Porterbuilt or some other companies have parts. Obviously you can only go so low before the lower a arms, cross member, and oil pan are dangerously close to the ground. How much further are you wanting to go?

Re: ?s on the low with out the bag.
Not to sure I guess ill come across that when I cross it. I guess when I figure out what tire to run ill see how much further ill go but might be enough with the right tire.. I have the 8' wide rallys I'm getting ready now I'm just not sure if I want to go 50 or 55...

Re: ?s on the low with out the bag.
If you go with smaller tires and you want to go lower you might run into being to low. If you think you still are going to have to lower it more then you might want to do springs all the way around or springs in the rear and spindles up front. lowering springs and spindles are prob the best ride quality your going to get over cutting or heating springs. what and size rims and tires are on it in the first pic, and how much lower do you want to go off of that? And nice truck always nice to see more people from PA

Re: ?s on the low with out the bag.
Well I already heated the fronts and rears but I want to do a 2 inch spindal and a 3 inch spring in the front. and a 5 inch spring in the rear. I am gonna run the 15x8 rallys cause I hate the other wheels. and what's on there now are 31x10.50x15 and the fronts are 215x75x15. So just by changing my tire size is going to make a huge diff.. but I can't seem to figure out what tire I wanna run.. I was thinking a 245-50-15. But there hard to find...

Re: ?s on the low with out the bag.
stay away from the 245's there way to wide for you if your going to slam the truck, i would go with a 205 then there is less of a chance the tread will be tearing up your wheel wells

Re: ?s on the low with out the bag.
I have a 215/70R15 on the front of mine with an 8" wheel. That would have been about the stock size. Its 27" in diameter and fills the wheel well perfect. I think mine came down about 6 inches in front, maybe 6.25". Some guys even run a 215/60R15 and they are laying right on the ground with bags. Its a little too small (at ride height) for my taste, but looks good when aired down. Heres mine...
First two pics are mine. 215/70r15 (27" tall) before and after lowering. This is about as low (static) as I would go and still be able to drive it around. I have long tube headers on it and they are about 2" off the ground. Crossmember is about 4.5" off the ground. Third pic isnt mine, but its a member truck here. He is running 215/60r15 (25.2" tall) I believe and he is on bags.

Re: ?s on the low with out the bag.
Everyone sells 2.5" spindles.
ECE, McGaughy's, Western Chassis, Performance Online, etc. Early Classic Enterprises sells 6" rear springs. I made my lowering blocks, but you can buy them here: http://www.stockcarproducts.com/trkarm1.htm The front a-arms are really close to the ground with this combo.

Re: ?s on the low with out the bag.
Looks good to me! Yours has about the same stance as mine, and the front looks about the same height. I dont have a notch in the back yet. Mine is just bottomed out on the bump stops right now. I'll do my notch in the springtime and add some 2" blocks.

If you have 15" wheels,... I wouldn't go with more than a 1.5" block, or you will have scrubline issues.
