My new Truck 66 swb fleetside
Hello all, I've been reading this forum for the last few months after deciding to sell my 2000 sierra xcab 4x4 with a blown tranny and get an old chevy. Originally I was looking to get a 67 or 68, however after seeing several older models at car event over the summer, I decided to go with a 64-66. So this weekend, I got a 66. Great year as it is the year I was born. This is project that I will be working on with my girlfriend and anyone else who wants to help lend a hand. Truck has a lot of body work already done, including shaving door handles, frenched antenna, and removal of gas filler from cab. Has a 350 and turbo 400 in it now. First project for me to tackle will be splitting the brake system followed by complete rewire (from american wire works) and new fuel tank below bed.
Just wanted to introduce myself and my new truck. Have a great night all. Ps will ad pics when I figure out how. |

Welcome to the forum
Looks like the body is in good shape. Is there any rust in the cab floor?
