I had to remove the rear ones (just the rubber part, the bracket is still on the frame). I left the front ones alone. I drove it about 200 miles today. It rides very well. No bottoming or other ugly characteristics.

Spoof, total from Early Classic was 800 dollars. This got me front spindles, rear 6 inch springs, super track bar, shock mount relocator kit, 4 KYB shocks, raised sway bar bracket kit, and front brake hoses. And shipping was 60 bucks of that! I already had 2 inch front drop springs from Summit, which I payed 89 for. Summit doesn't charge shipping.

Other things included new rear brake shoes (15), two front calipers (22), 2 new inner front wheel bearings (8), front grease seals (8), brake pads (20), brake caliper bolts (10), banjo bolts to hold brake line to caliper (6), master cylinder (13), and the little clips that go on the back of the brake pads (2). Also needed lugnuts (I scrounged them up, they don't match, I hate them).

It wasn't cheap, but I don't cut corners on brakes and suspension. My little girl rides with me, and her life is worth spending a few bucks for safety. I got the rear end from Matt67350. I cleaned and painted it and changed the oil in it. I also got a front end from him too. I pulled the rotors, outer wheel bearings, dust shields, and grease caps off of. I sold what was left over to Hutch.

It was worth it.

That strikes me as a fairly reasonable cost. ECE is worth anything over and above anything else. Good on ya.
