front shock relocate
i am bout to buy front shock relocates for my 66 c10 i am in between cpp or porterbuilts like porters better but alot more. my front setup is sectioned cross member and cupped lower arm's with bags. i have heard ppl have a hard time installing the cpp because cab gets in the way for the back bolt. i also have my whole front clip on right now too witch ones u like the best guys

Depends on what shock you plan on running. The side mounts are definitely easier to install, but require a stud mount shock. The CPP/POL style will require an angle drill and short bit or removal of the cab, but retain use of a stock style shock...
Fwiw, I'm using a set of CPP mounts to accommodate my stock style shocks. Those side mount style are also available from ART or member way2lo2, but PB rocks. Posted via Mobile Device

Porterbuilt makes good stuff. I'm running those same Porterbuilt relocators on my truck.

Not sure what part number they are. Porterbuilt sold me the shocks as well.
FYI, you will have to shave aprx an 1/8" off the sides of the lower ball on the shock in order for it to fit in the mount on the lower control arm. You also need to use a sleeve inside of the ball mount to make the bolt hole smaller, Porterbuilt should provide this. Posted via Mobile Device

The CPP units will require 1/2" or so removed from the inner fender flange, in my experience.
