Can someone help identify this?
This came with my truck when I bought it and I don't plan to use it. Looking to sale it on Craigslist and was hoping someone could give me the details about it.

Re: Can someone help identify this?
Not sure what I am doing wrong on the link. I can't access Photobucket from my work due to internet restrictions so I am typing in the link from my phone.

Thats a posi unit, looks like an eaton or possibly a gov-lock. Someone will chime in with the specifics for you.

It's a eaton, it has clutch discs in behind the spider gears.

Re: Can someone help identify this?
How can I tell if it is a truck or car unit and what gear range it is for?

Re: Can someone help identify this?
That looks like a passenger car 12 Posi, quite possibly a series 2 (fits 2.29 to 2.73 gear set)
