Do any of you guys know of a company making poly center carrier bearings (instead of the rubber) for driveshafts? I have heard there is company making them but I have not been able to find them yet. Thanks

Inland Empire drive shafts is poly (I'm pretty sure). I am at work and don't have their link handy but it should be easy to find.

I have been fighting driveline vibrations for quite a while now and think the carrier bearings are the problem. I have had 4 in this truck since 1996 and I do not drive that much. I need to check tomorrow on my driveshaft being able to slide like was said in the other thread also. I have had this shaft shortend 2 times, first time when I had a 700r put in the truck and just recently when I drove to Phoenix transmission in Texas for my 4L80E transmission. I would think they would have noticed if the shaft was not sliding, but I would be very happy if that was my problem. What really bugs me is that is usually worse when it is cold outside. If I drive for a half hour or hour it will not do it.
