tires

trying to find 16.5-12.50 tires without having to buy mud grips, they are becoming extinct, have nice wheels, dont want to change to 16, anyone know who still sells a street, wide fat 16.5 tires?

Re: tires

Sorry for jacking the thread, but I hate starting new ones. Clutters up the servers.

Anyway, I need some new tires. Thoughts on these three?

Goodyear Wrangler SilentArmor: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....wtpackage=true

BFG T/A KO: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....wtpackage=true

General Grabber AT 2: http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....wtpackage=true

I like the BFGs the best, but they are $100 more than the Generals. I honestly wouldn't even look at the goodyears but with an $80 rebate they are only a little more than the grabbers. I like the more aggressive tread patterns because I do go off-road from time to time, but I only have 2wd so every little bit helps. Anyone use any of these before and have any input on them?

EDIT: these are going on a 68 lwb with a 2" drop. Yeah I know it doesn't make sense to off-road with a drop, but that's the way I bought it haha

Re: tires

consensus on the other forum I asked is that the generals are a safe bet. Although someone did say that the BFGs were terrible which surprised me a bit. I've never used the all terrains but the Radial series has been fantastic
