To be more specific I like the 70s trucks with the black around the headlights, like bigblock73's.
I drive an 85 now and I love the style, but when the time comes Ill be drivin a 77 Royal Sierra with a 400SB. Its in the sit in my yard and rott stage right now, till spring when I have good weather to restore it. I may get the cab and motor in for a winter project though...

If you have emissions testing like we do, I would say go with the 77. My 73 will pass a safety inspection just fine, but probably not an emissions inspection.....

Well, I'd go for the 87, I don't dislike the round lights but I like the squares better, the rounds with the square bezel have kind of an uncle fester look to them

Here's what mine's like with buckets and grille painted to match the body color
