Re: Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushings???
did they make a big difference in feel? I'm sure all my bushings are wore out. The Prothane seems to be a bit less expensive.

Re: Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushings???
The suspension is more responsive overall. I have it lowered and the front suspension modified. I can bottom it out going around a corner before the front breaks loose or the rear breaks loose way before.

I used them on my vette and they are noticably stiffer. You really need to make sure you generously lube them when you assemble to prevent noise.
I just purchased some for my front sway bar and will be installing in the next week or so. -D

Re: Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushings???
We sell the Prothane poly bushings and our customers have been happy. If you go with black, they actually have a hint of graphite in them. They do come with the necessary grease though for the bushings that need them.
They do last very long and have less flex than rubber. Posted via Mobile Device |

Mine died a horrible death on railroad track. 72 control arms fixed that squeaking issue

Re: Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushings???
I had them on my 85 LWB. They ARE stiffer but makes the handling AWSOME. No leaning

Re: Energy Suspension Polyurethane Bushings???
It is fun. Imo. If I didn't have to work on it it wouldn't be nearly as interesting. So gratifying. But also, so frustrating.

I agree...but to me it's more fun doing things you get to immediately see and enjoy rather than fix the lack of maintenance by previous owners.
