Dropped trucks with... Rino liner?

I plan on lowering my truck, but it seems to be at odds with another thing I want to do to my bed. I want to Rhino line the inside of the bed. As so many people do these days. But then again, I also want to lower the truck some day.

There are two problems working against each other here. First, if I rino line the bed, it won't look nearly as good when lowered. Cause of course, with a lowered truck, its a lot easier to see inside the bed. But, at the same time, I still want to be able to use the bed as a truck bed. After I have the truck painted, I don't want to cringe every time I have to slide some piece of wood (or whatever I may be hauling) onto that nice, new, pretty painted finish on the inside of the bed.

So which one would you do? Lower the truck and just not use the bed cause you don't want to scratch those good looks? Or rino line the bed, and just deal with it not looking nearly as good as a nice painted bed?

If you want show and go get a fiberglass tonneu cover to cover up the rhino lining then pull it off when doing big boy work

I'm more of a fan of line-x then rhino but both can be tinted to match your paint color.With the lining tinted most can't tell its there tell they are standing next to it or touch it.A tonneu cover is a good idea to hide the bed and probably give you a few more mpg too.

I have never seen one of these trucks with a toneau cover. Anyone happen to have a pic on hand? Preferably of a longbed since that's what mine is. If possible.

I painted the inside of my pickup box with Rustoleum.

Cost about $6; I figure I can repaint it several times for what the Rhino liner cost.

There is also the option of a bed mat or a drop-in bed liner, it gives you both the funtionality when it's installed, and the great looks when it's not. Of course, the trade-off is all the hassle of pulling it in and out.

As well as provide an evironment for rust.
I would do a spray in liner, since it seems like this will be a frequent driver, and used to haul stuff.

My truck is going to be on air ride and I'm rhino lining the bed cause I think it looks good And I could use it still if I wanted too

As for the brand, I've never even seen an actual Rhino liner dealer installer down here. Its all linex so that's what I'll be going with im sure.

Whatever brand you use go a head and pre sand your bed,Most places will sand it right but sometimes they hurry and missing a small spot will peal later on.

Ok will do. Next question: What is the best way to go about getting all the old dents out of the bed floor? Just get a new skin and weld it in? (expensive)

Or, actually get all the body work done on the bed floor and pull all the dents out? Mine don't have any big ones but its probly got at least 10 small dents in the floor of the bed.
